Kicking Breakfast Menu

It's the First of September, which means another football season is here. Of course camps and preseason have been under way for many weeks, and as is often the case the Canadians are already way ahead of us Americans. Nonetheless, we'll start the month and season off with some lighter fare... a look at the most important meal of the day, from the vantage point of NFL kickers. What do they eat for breakfast?

Note: not all of these necessarily represent their typical daily breakfast, as evidenced from the links to the corresponding stories.
Washington Redskins
"My breakfast every morning: a plate of oatmeal with blueberries, followed by 4 eggs over easy mixed with toast. Then 3 hard boiled eggs."

New England Patriots
French toast sticks and orange slices.

Jason Elam, retired
"IHOP, pancakes with blackberry syrup."

Rhys Lloyd, Minnesota Vikings
"Good breakfast this am. Wholegrain waffles, strawberries and blackberries along with orange juice. Off to kick now."

Jason Hanson, Detroit Lions
a bowl of Apple Jacks, a cup of juice and some Teddy Grahams.

Jay Feely, Arizona Cardinals
"So good to finally be home. Been away for a MONTH!! Kids woke me up early to make chocolate chip pancakes after getting back at 4am."

Tony Franklin, retired
Wheaties (per the very end of this clip).
