"This summer I have been working on getting stronger, and more consistent. But my main thing this summer is working on my punting. I'm getting better at it everyday and am pleased with my progress. Still a ways to go, but I'm glad to actually be improving. The goal for the upcoming season is just to have a great first season with the Warhawks, and of course the goal is to always be perfect. Also, to help ULM win the Sunbelt, and win a bowl game."
Kicker: Brandon Menard, freshman, (Shreveport, LA / C.E. Byrd HS)
2012: Redshirted.
High school: Earned three letters as a member of the football team... Earned second team all-district honors as a punter and a kicker... Holds school record for most extra points in a game... Also earned three letters in soccer and one letter in baseball.
Long snapper: Madison Tharp, senior (Albertville, AL  / Albertville HS)
Returning starter who has handled snapping each of the past three years.
"I've spent most of the summer working out and working. These past 2 weeks have been my vacation so I've been able to go home and spend a little time with my mom and then I just got done camping on the Buffalo River. I plan to keep improving my snap time and accuracy over the summer. Hopefully the team will not need me much this year but I'll be ready for when the time comes."
