NFL Week Five: Four Apiece for Garrett Hartley, Ryan Succop & Steven Hauschka

Saints kicker Garrett Hartley was 4 of 4 on field goals (47, 19, 36 & 48 yards) yesterday. New Orleans won the game 26-18 over Chicago.

Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop was 4 of 4 on field goals (29, 24, 33 & 48 yards) yesterday. Kansas City won the game 26-17 over Tennessee.
"(Long snapper) Thomas (Gafford) and (holder) Dustin (Colquitt) do such a great job, so big hat’s off to them. It was a tough day. It was wet and kind of windy, but they did a good job snapping and holding for me....

The whole time I was told we were kicking the [final] field goal, so I wasn’t thinking about field position or if we might punt. I was just ready to get out there and knock it through. I don’t know what distance they would have punted, but fortunately we got in range."
Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka was 4 of 5 on field goals (47, 19, 36 & 48 yards) yesterday. His lone miss came in the second quarter when a 48 yard attempt was blocked.  Seattle lost the game 34-28 to Indianapolis.
"Hauschka said he 'wasn’t quite sure' what happened since he had his head down on his follow-through. 'It’s kind of frustrating for me to have the game-deciding play like that go against us'.”
