NFL Week Five: Nick Folk Ends the Week

As time expired in the final game of the week, Nick Folk was kicking a 43 yard field goal. It gave the Jets a 30-28 win over the Falcons. The specialists discussed the game winner in the locker room afterward:
“Right down the middle” - Nick Folk
“Actually, I think it was a little to the left” - punter/holder Ryan Quigley
“Thanks, man, thanks” - Folk
Allowed to expand, Folk elaborated a little bit
“It felt good. It went down the middle. I hit it pretty good. I hit it pretty solid. As soon as I saw it go and get up in the air, I knew it was pretty good....

I feel like I’ve been hitting the ball pretty well for a while now.”
The kick was Folk's second game winner of the year.  He began the season with a 48 yarder to win the opener over Tampa Bay.
“Any time you get those kind of kicks, it builds confidence. To start the year with a kick like that is pretty good, too. Week 5 Monday night has been pretty good to me over the years. I’ll let you guys figure that out.”
