March 28, 2015 - spring game
"The White Team would go on to grab a 3-0 lead on a 31-yard field goal from Michael Hill (Tarpon Springs) with 11:51 remaining in the first quarter.... Hill would go on to connect on all three of his field goal attempts while Emilio Nadelman (Miami) was two-for-two hitting from 32 and 44 yards." - Bulls

March 13, 2015 - spring specialists
"First-team all-conference punter Mattias Ciabatti is back for his senior year after breaking program records and redshirt sophomore Emilio Nadelman finally gets his shot at placekicker after picking up pointers from All-American Marvin Kloss. 'They’re doing a nice job,' special teams coordinator Stu Holt said after Friday’s spring practice. 'They’ve been around for a while and it’s nice. We’ve got a couple guys that have taken a lot of reps.' Ciabatti has been a major weapon for the Bulls the past two seasons and the Tampa native proved to be one of the best in the nation in 2014. The former Hillsborough High School standout ranked 10th among all FBS punters with an average of 44.4 yards on 65 attempts, which set a single-season USF record and led the American Athletic Conference.... Nadelman is working toward becoming consistent at putting the ball through the uprights from anywhere on the field and he has not shortage of leg strength. Nadelman saw action in one game last season and kicked off three times for an average of 65.3 yards against Western Carolina." - Bulls

February 4, 2014 - punter Jack Spicer signs as preferred walk-on
"Spicer, an Ohio native until his family moved to Southwest Florida four years ago, joins a Bulls team that has two punters on its roster, including Fort Myers grad Eric Briggs and American Athletic Conference first-teamer Mattias Ciabatti. The Estero senior was offered a preferred walk-on position with USF following a kicking camp he attended over the summer. 'That will be really good to learn under him,' Spicer said of Ciabatti. While Spicer said he is a preferred walk-on entering the program, he said there will be an opportunity to earn a scholarship as he plays. If he eventually earns a starting spot with the Bulls, he said, he would most likely earn a scholarship." - News-Press

July 3, 2014 - punter Mattias Ciabatti
"The starting job is Mattias Ciabatti's to lose. Special teams coordinator Stu Holt praised Ciabatti's technique, and his improvement during last season. Redshirt freshman Emilio Nadelman was impressive during the spring, and punted in high school, so the Bulls have options." - Voodoo five

March 21, 2014 - spring kickers update
"Placekicker Marvin Kloss returns for his senior year after becoming one of three finalists for the Lou Groza Award. The Cape Coral, Fla., native led the nation with 11 made field goals of 40 yards or more and four kicks from 50 yards or more, but that doesn’t mean he’s secured a starting job just yet for 2014. 'Let’s not kid ourselves, Marvin is talented, but at the same time he’s just like anybody else. He’s got to get back into the groove and get to where he’s comfortable again,' Holt said. Kloss started spring ball with a tweaked back, which gave redshirt freshman Emilio Nadelman an opportunity to show what he can do in meaningful situations. 'Right now I couldn’t tell you who would start,' said punter Mattias Ciabatti, who also serves as the team’s holder on kicks....Nadelman racked up 102 of his 307 career points at Miami Central during his senior year and earned Class 6A first-team all-state honors from The Associated Press. Coaches, and even Kloss, have been impressed with Nadelman’s ability to step up and connect this spring." - USF Bulls
