Morgan State Bears Kicker, Punter & Snapper News

September 20, 2014 - Chris Moller kicks game winner over Howard
"When Morgan State kicker Chris Moller booted the game-winning field goal with 28 seconds left at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, giving the Bears a 38-35 victory against Howard, he did it from a unique perspective. As a life-long Washington football fan and a resident of Newport News, Va., Moller said he actually took pleasure in hitting a pivotal kick in the stadium where Washington's chief rival plays, as if he was dooming the Giants with the play. 'Coming here to MetLife has always been a dream of mine,' said Moller of clinching a win at the New York Urban League's 42nd Annual Football Classic in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (FCS) opener for both teams. 'I'm a (Washington) fan. It's good to hit a game-winning field goal on my rival's stadium. It's definitely a great memory.' It was also good to hit the second-game winner of his career after his 45-yard attempt to end the first half was partially blocked." - NY Daily News

April 26, 2014 - Blue-Orange spring game
"Placekicker Chris Moller was automatic on special teams by converting all four of his field goal attempts." - Bears

April 12, 2014 - coach Lee Hull regarding special teams
"Special teams is a work in progress as far as schematics. Guys are learning what we're trying to do on special teams – it's a little different than what's been done in the past. I've been impressed with our kickers. Chris Moller connected on 7-of-8 field goals at today's scrimmage – I was pretty impressed with him. And [Lawrence] Forbes has a strong leg and just needs to be little bit more consistent. But I think he'll be fine when the season gets here." - Bears

March 5, 2014 - spring specialists
"The return of both kickers – P Lawrence Forbes – PK Chris Moller and long snapper Willie Gillus" - Bears
