Colgate Raiders Kicker, Punter & Snapper News

September 9, 2015 - punter Will Hart commits
"University School punter Will Hart has made a verbal commitment to Colgate University. Hart made his announcement on Twitter shortly after the regular season started. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound senior has a strong leg and is ranked in the top 16 nationally by two kicking services based on camp performance. Hart is averaging 46.7 yards per punt in two games. His average is higher than his sophomore (40.14) and junior (39.8) seasons." - Plain Dealer

April 26th - spring game
"Nikko Armiento punted twice for a 43-yard average, and Jonah Bowman connected on a 31-yard field goal." - Raiders

March 30th - spring specialists & coaching
"Under coach Dan Hunt, Colgate special teams -- punting, kicking, returns -- will truly be special. Hunt said this -- especially having Ryan Knowles dedicated to it -- is the biggest change on the Colgate sidelines. Hunt said last year Colgate's special teams ran some 350 plays. 'That's a lot of plays,' said Hunt. 'This year instead of saying, 'Let's not have anything bad happen on special teams,' we're going to try to make things happen with our special teams. And, to me that is the biggest difference moving forward this spring.' Hunt said the kicking game is solid with Nikko Armiento, Jonah Bowman and Duncan Brennan. The combination of these three means Colgate is two-deep at punting, kickoffs and place kicking, a luxury many teams don't enjoy." - Radio Free Hamilton
