September 12, 2015 - kicker Ross Martin sets school field goal record
"kicker Ross Martin recently became the program’s career leader in field goals made, after making a 34 yard kick during the 2nd quarter of the Blue Devils’ rout of NCCU over the weekend. His 56 career field goals breaks the school record previously held by Sims Lenhardt (1996-99), and what’s even more impressive is that he broke the record for most field goal makes without having to break the record for the most field goals attempted." - Ball Durham

June 29, 2015 - summer specialists
"Senior kicker Ross Martin enters his final campaign as the program's career leader in points scored with 310. Among active NCAA players, the Solon, Ohio, product ranks second in career field goals made (52), third in total points, fifth in PATs (154), eighth in field goal percentage (.825) and 10th in points per game (7.75). A 2014 Sports Illustrated honorable mention All-America selection, Martin has made a program-record 110 consecutive PATs. Junior Danny Stirt and sophomores Will Kline and Collin Wareham will back up Martin this year. Redshirt senior Will Monday will serve as the primary punter for the fourth consecutive season. A native of Flowery Branch, Ga., Monday will begin 2015 ranked 10th on the ACC’s career punting average chart (43.45). Among active NCAA players, he is tied for eighth in career punts (195) and stands ninth in punting average. He is also one of just two active ACC players to have earned both first team All-ACC and Academic All-ACC honors, joining teammate Kelby Brown. Stirt and Kline will serve as Monday's backups in 2015. Completing the core of the kicking unit is redshirt junior long snapper Thomas Hennessy. A Bardonia, N.Y., native, he has helped Duke convert 32-of-40 field goal attempts and all 108 PAT tries in the last two seasons. Duke joins Florida State and Wake Forest as the only ACC teams without a missed PAT attempt over the past two seasons.
