March 14, 2015 - spring kicker Ben Bruggeworth
"Ben Bruggeworth, the soccer goalie who came to the football team for a while last season as an emergency kicker, is football-only now. He made a 28-yard field goal but missed three straight from 32. He did make all of his extra points. Regular kicker David Marvin is recovering from a knee injury and is not participating in spring drills." - Go Upstate
February 4, 2015 - kicker Buddy Anderson & punter Luke Carter sign
"Buddy Anderson, Clover, S.C. - was a three-year kicker at York Comprehensive High School. As a senior he was 7-of-13 on field goals with a long of 40 yards and made 59-of-61 PATs. He averaged 33.6 yards per punt and had a 59.2 yard average on kickoffs as he earned All-Region 3-AAAA honors. During his junior year he averaged 53.9 yards per kickoff and made 49-of-50 PATs. He was also a four-year starter on the soccer team. He served as team captain for three seasons and was named All-Region twice.
Luker Carter, Florence, S.C. - was a four-year letterman at Wilson High School, earning three time all-region and two time all-state accolades, including USA Today/HSSR 2013 South Carolina Punter of the Year. He set a school record while leading all South Carolina punters with an average 43.0 yards per punt. During his senior season, he set school and region records by kicking a 52 yard field goal, while averaging a 3A best 42.2 yards per punt with 39 of 49 kickoffs recorded for touchbacks. He also starts as goalie on the Wilson soccer team. " - Terriers

November 12, 2014 - punter Brian Sanders
Switching to rugby-style punting wasn't exactly an immediate success for Brian Sanders. 'When he started out,' Wofford head coach Mike Ayers said, 'he had a couple of bad ones and those guys up front (on the coverage team) got blasted'.... He's gotten the hang of it. Sanders ranks third in the Southern Conference with 40.3 yards per punt and Wofford leads the league in net punting, which includes return yards, at 39.0. 'Brian has really worked hard to make us better,' Ayers said, 'and he's done that very well.' The change in styles, suggested by special teams coach Aaron Johnson, was made shortly after Sanders took over for David Marvin, who was injured in the opening game at Georgia Tech. 'David was the guy and all of the sudden, he gets hurt,' Ayers said. 'The next guy is Brian. He has a great leg but we were looking for more consistency from him. Coach Johnson and I talked about the rugby punt as a way we could get the most mileage. The way it's worked out has been great.' Sanders said he first learned about the rugby style punts last season from former Wofford kicker and holder Paul Inclan." - GoUpstate

September 9, 2014 - kicker/punter David Marvin injured
"If David Marvin only had one job to do on the Wofford football team, it would be difficult enough to fill his kicking shoes. But Marvin does all the kicking — punts, field goals, extra points and kickoffs. And with him doubtful to play Saturday night in the home opener against North Greenville because of a sprained knee suffered against Georgia Tech, there have been several lines of possible replacements forming....  A special brace that will go on his plant leg has been ordered and should arrive this week. But even then, it seems likely that he will miss a game or two to make sure the left knee heals properly. Sophomore Brian Sanders (McLean, Va.) is the front-runner to punt and true freshman Michael Sarafianos (Tampa, Fla.) has been a pleasant surprise as a field-goal kicker after moving over from his safety position on the defense. But volunteers are still being accepted. 'It's been interesting to see guys step up and try,' Marvin said. 'Some of them have done really well … and some people who tried out just can't kick. It's been kind of fun to watch them also'.... Taylor Bragg, a sophomore who played quarterback for the Terriers and has switched to tight end, may add backup kickoff specialist to his resume. Bragg was an all-state soccer player in high school and showed some of that leg strength in practice.... Those on the tryout list have also included a couple of players borrowed from the Wofford soccer team." - GoUpstate

May 8, 2014 - long snapper Jake Brogdon
"Mauldin football player Jake Brogdon will be a walk-on at Southern Conference powerhouse Wofford. He hopes to be a long snapper, the position he held for four years as a Maverick." - Greenville Online

March 15, 2014 - first spring scrimmage
"After the turnover, the offense was led by Brandon Goodson and resulted in a 51-yard field goal made by David Marvin." - Terriers
