September 21, 2015 - kicker Ed Mish earns weekly Patriot League honors
"Though he didn't get a chance to kick a field goal, Mish was named the Special Teams Player of the Week. He was a perfect 6-for-6 in PATs and also recorded touchbacks on five of his seven kickoffs. " - Lehigh Valley Live

April 28, 2015 - punter/kicker Gage Wilson commits
"Gage Wilson started a charity last year that raised money for diabetes research every time he made a kick for Bishop Gorman’s football team. He hopes to continue fighting the disease during his college career. Wilson, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 11, recently made an oral commitment to Lehigh (Pa.) after a record-breaking career for the Gaels.... As a junior, Wilson became the Gaels’ starting punter and backup place-kicker, and he had a school-record 62-yard punt against Servite (Calif.). Last season, Wilson averaged 39.2 yards per punt while being named first-team All-Southwest League. He also was 4-for-6 on field goals, including a 26-yarder in overtime that helped Gorman edge nationally ranked Bingham (Utah) 23-20 on Sept. 5, and made 93 percent (84 of 90) of his extra-point attempts." - Las Vegas Review-Journal

April 13, 2015 - spring specialists
"Senior Austin Devine was one of Lehigh's top performers in his first season as a punter, earning first team All-Patriot League honors. The Mountain Hawks will likely employ a freshman kicker and a freshman snapper while there are voids to be filled in the return game as well. Devine emerged as a bright spot in his first season handling the punting duties, ranking 15th in the FCS averaging a 42.2 net on his punts. The first team all-league selection placed 21 of 47 punts inside the opponents' 20 yard line and only seven of his punts were returned. The departure of Ryan Pandy means that incoming freshman Ed Mish will likely get the first crack at the placekicking duties. The Mountain Hawks will also need a new snapper for punts and placements. Matt Laub is capable when healthy and Lehigh's returning tight ends have been working on snapping as well. Incoming freshman Mark Walker will also get a look here when he arrives on campus." - Mountain Hawks

April 18, 2014 - spring specialists
"With the graduation of P Tim Divers and LS Kyle Lechner, one of the more underrated aspects of the spring season is the evaluation of two sometimes-forgotten positions. Top on the depth chart will be junior P Austin Devine, who is unusual in that he's a lefty and will finally get his chance to be the top guy.  At long snapper, junior LB Matt Laub, who filled in for Lechner when he was hurt two years ago, is the front-runner but has missed time this spring thanks to injury.  Senior WR Derek Gaul would be a good bet to get the bung of the long-snapping duties tomorrow. At kicker, sophomore PK Ryan Pandy returns after a very successful freshman season (42/44 XPs, 8/12 FGs, with a long of 41 yards).  Senior PK Nick Marcello, Pandy's backup, will also get a look." - Lehigh Football Nation
