September 7, 2015 - kicker Lance Geesey named NEC Special Teams Player of the Week
"12 points, 2-for-2 FG, 6-for-6 PAT, Record-Breaking 24-yard FG, 63.8 KO avg., 1 TB
Geesey kicked his way to sole possession of a Saint Francis program record during the season-opening triumph over Patriot League member Georgetown. Entering the season tied for the all-time career mark in field goals made, Geesey connected on a pair of three-pointers during the second quarter of the Red Flash’s eventual 48-20 victory. Going a perfect 6-for-6 on extra point attempts, Geesey contributed a total of 12 points to the winning effort.  He scored the last six points of the first half, sending SFU into the locker room with a 27-6 advantage. His 24-yarder with 3:18 left in the second quarter capped a 12-play, 67-yard drive and was the record-setting 30th make of his career. He added a 44-yarder as the second quarter expired." - NEC

February 4, 2015 - long snapper Jacob Schwind signs
"Schwind joins the Red Flash football program out of Kettle Run High School in Nokesville, Virginia. He helped lead his team to a 7-5 record during the 2014 football season, while seeing time at both Center and Long Snapper. Schwind plans to join the Physician's Assistant program at Saint Francis U." - Red Flash

October 25, 2014 - Lance Geesey kicks game winner over Sacred Heart
"In what can be described as the most significant win in school history, the Saint Francis football team won for the first time against a ranked opponent as the Red Flash defeated No. 22 Sacred Heart, 30-27, Saturday afternoon.... The Pioneers had just tied the game at 27 with a field goal, and the Flash needed some plays to regain control with 9:47 to play.... And kicker Lance Geesey (Harrisburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) punctuated the drive with a 35-yard field goal to put the Flash ahead, 30-27, with 5:28 remaining." - Red Flash

July 7, 2014 - kicker Lance Geesey named to watch list
"Kicker Lance Geesey (Harrisburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) earned a spot on the 2014 CFPA Placekicker Watch List, announced today by College Football Performance Awards.... Geesey had an outstanding redshirt freshman campaign for the Flash in 2013. He tied a school record with 11 made field goals in a school-record 16 attempts. He also tied the school record with three made field goals against Robert Morris in the final game of the season. Geesey also owns the second-longest made field goal in SFU history, hitting from 47 yards out at James Madison in September and matching that distance against Sacred Heart in October." - Red Flash

April 12, 2014 - spring game
"Lance Geesey made the extra point and the White Team led, 7-0.  Geesey then hit a 39-yard field goal for the Red Team as the regulation time in the first half expired." - Red Flash

April 8, 2014 - kicker/punter Eric Bofenkamp signs
"John F. Kennedy HS –  Bofenkamp is an All-Ohio selection and was picked to the First-Team Northeast Ohio Inland District. A preseason first-team all-state selection, he was a two-time special teams player of the year while making 16 career field goals and 93 career extra points." - Red Flash
