Yale Bulldogs Kicker, Punter & Snapper News

April 18, 2015 - spring game
"Kicker Blake Horn, who missed last season because of injury, connected on a 30-yard field goal and made both of his point-after attempts. But he did miss a 35-yard field goal late in the scrimmage. Punter Bryan Holmes pinned the offense inside the 20 one time, but also had a pair of snaps sail over his head." - New Haven Register

July 9, 2014 - kicker/punter Kyle Cazzetta named to watch list
"Cazzetta, Yale's top punter and placekicker last fall, has been included on the College Football Performance Awards' (CFPA) 2014 placekicker watch list. Cazzetta, an honorable mention All-Ivy League placekicker in 2013, was the starter at both kicking positions last fall. He earned league special teams player of the week twice and finished with 11 field goals (15 attempts), the second most by an Ivy player. The left-footer from Slate Hill, N.Y., booted a career-long 46-yard field goal in three different games last fall. Cazzetta's busy leg also punted 54 times for a 38.7 average. His long punt was 68 yards while he had 14 that landed inside the 20-yard line. Cazzetta, who did not placekick his first two collegiate seasons, has been the Bulldogs' starting punter since his freshman campaign. He has been very consistent since arriving in New Haven, including a number of big kicks. His career-best punt was a 72-yarder his sophomore year." - Bulldogs

May 14, 2014 - freshman kicker/punter Bryan Holmes
"Holland, MI, West Ottawa HS - Had 45 of 53 kick-offs downed for touchbacks, and averaged 43 yards on punts in 2012… all-conference, all-area and honorable mention all-state… Lettered three times… A Merit scholar, National Honor Society member and scholar-athlete." - Bulldogs
