January 25, 2015 - Thievy Bifouma & Fabrice Ondama score in win over Burkina Faso
Second-half goals from Thievy Bifouma and Fabrice Ondama helped Congo clinch a 2-1 victory for Congo against Burkina Faso in Sunday's crunch Africa Cup of Nations Group A clash at Nuevo Estadio de Ebebiyin. After a goalless opening half, Bifouma got on the end of Ferebory Dore's pass to fire home from close range to give the Leopards a priceless lead.... Burkina Faso leveled proceedings when substitute Issiaka Ouedraogou curled in a superb cross which Aristide Bance converted to make it 1-1. But Congo has the final say as Fabrice Ondama netted in the dying minutes to secure the win and all three points for Le Roy's side." - Daily Mail

January 21, 2015 - Prince Oniangue scores in win over Gabon
"Republic of Congo ground out a surprise 1-0 win over Gabon at the African Cup of Nations on Wednesday, its first at the tournament in over two decades, to go top of Group A. "Congo striker Thievy Bifouma grabbed a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw to deny hosts Equatorial Guinea a rousing start to the African Nations Cup finals at the Estadio de Bata on Saturday. The home led with a 17th minute goal from English-based captain Emilio Nsue, but their defence was finally breached in the 87th minute ending the celebrations of the capacity crowd. The small central African nation, handed a place at the finals after stepping in as emergency hosts, were fortunate to lead as replays showed Nsue was just offside when he scored. "Congo sneaked into the 2015 Africa Nations Cup at Nigeria’s expense after beating Sudan 1-0 at the Khartoum Stadium. The result saw Congo finishing in second position in Group A on 10 points, two points above Nigeria, who drew 2-2 with group winner South Africa. The only goal of a tight game that saw both sides creating several good scoring chances came 15 minutes into the second half via a world-class free kick from Francis Nganga.... September 6, 2014 - Thiery Bifouma scores brace in win over Nigeria
"A brace from  and a solitary strike from Prince Oniangue saw Congo Brazzaville defeat Nigeria 3-2 in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. The win moves Congo level on points with Bafana Bafana, although they move to second as the Bafana have a superior goal-difference. The home side took the lead in the 16th minute through Efe Ambrose's close range header, after Ahmed Musa had floated in a delightful free-kick. However, two minutes later and Congo were level, as their captain, Prince Oniangue, showed great composure to slot into the bottom counter. Congo then doubled their lead just before the halftime break, as Thiery Bifouma played a neat one-two with Litingu, before firing past the on-rushing Austin Ejide. It got better for Claud Le Roy's men in the opening 10 minutes of the second, as Bifouma converted from the penalty spot to get Congo's third." - Soccer Laduma
