"Senegal enjoyed a 1-0 win against Gambia in Bakau on Saturday, in the return leg of their 2016 African Nations Championship qualifying tie. The Teranga Lions sealed a 4-1 aggregate victory over the Scorpions to extend their continental journey, following their 3-1 win in Dakar in the first leg. "Senegal secured a 3-1 home win against Gambia in Dakar on Saturday, in their zone West A opener of the 2016 CHAN qualifiers. Niary-Tally striker Mamadou Niang put the Lions ahead after just 9 minutes of play at Stade Demba Diop, but the Scorpions levelled matters two minutes later through Salif Krubally. However, 22-year-old playmaker Abdoulaye Ba found the back of the net on the stroke of half time, to send the locals with a narrow lead into the break. "Senegal enjoyed a 3-1 home win over Burundi in Dakar on Saturday, as the two sides launched their 2017 AFCON qualifying campaign in Group K. Moussa Konaté, Mame Biram Diouf and Sadio Mané were on target for the Teranga Lions, with a successful effort from Fiston Abdoul Razak as the only answer from the visitors. Konaté gave the locals the lead at Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor from the spot in the 15th minute, after being fouled inside the box. The Senegalese took the narrow advantage into halftime, before conceding an equaliser through Fiston Abdoul at the hour mark. "Moussa Sow struck late in injury time to earn Senegal victory over Ghana. The substitute scored with virtually the last kick of the game, slotting in from the edge of the box to snatch all three point for the Teranga Lions. Ghana's Andrew Ayew scored a first-half penalty after Everton winger Christian Atsu had been fouled. "Senegal wrapped up their Africa Cup of Nations preparations with a 5-2 demolition of Guinea on Tuesday.... Dame N'Doye set the ball rolling with a first-half brace and Kara Mbodj made it 3-0 shortly after 57 minutes. A fourth from Alfred N'Diaye appeared to put the result beyond doubt, but Guinea hit back through Kevin Constant. Halfway through the first half and Kara Mbodj had already put Senegal ahead on with a header off a corner kick by Pape Kouly Diop. Then Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse doubled their advantage after 26 minutes off a cross from Moussa Sow from the right flank. "Senegal maintained their place at the top of Group G when they defeated Botswana 2-0 in their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Botswana National Stadium on Wednesday night. Sadio Mane opened the scoring late in the first half before Dame N’Doye doubled the lead late in the second half to secure the three points.... Senegal did eventually take the lead in the 33rd minute as N’Doye released Mane through the centre, who then slotted the ball past the goalkeeper from inside the box.... "First half goals from Mame Biram Diouf and Sadio Mane saw Senegal secure a comfortable 2-0 win over Egypt in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Dakar. Senegal started with few of their European based players, although Mohammed Diame and Moussa Sow had to settle for a place on the bench. Mame Diouf opened the scoring in the 17th minute, the Stoke City latched onto a through ball before slotting the ball under the Egyptian goalkeeper....
