Ferjani Sassi, Saber Khalifa, Fakhreddine Ben Youssef, Maher Hannachi and Yoann Touzghar all got in on the act before the final whistle as Georges Leekens' side made an emphatic start to Group A." -  FourFourTwo

January 22, 2015 - Ahmed Akaichi & Yassine Chikhaoui score in win over Zambia
Group B saw its first win as Tunisia beat Zambia 2-1 in their Africa Cup of Nations clash.... The deadlock was broken in the 59th minute. Kalaba did brilliantly to hold off two defenders before sending a cross towards Mayuka who netted the half-volley. Tunisia were back on level terms in the 70th minute. The Eagles won the initial header at the near post following a corner and Ahmed Akaichi was on hand to direct it home. Group B looked set for yet another 1-1 draw but Tunisia sneaked in a winner in the 89th minute to change that. Msakni hit a cross towards the near post where Yassine Chikhaoui headed home for the three valuable points." - SL10

November 19, 2014 - Chikhaoui Yassine & Khazri score in win over Egypt
"Known as the Carthage Eagles, Tunisia defeated the Pharaohs 2-1 at Mustapha Ben Jannet Stadium, Monastir, a result that kept the Egyptians out of the continental tournament. The Shawky Gharib-led team came to Tunis fully aware of what was needed from them and they made their intentions clear first by hitting the net as early as the 15th minute through Mohamed Salah. The Chelsea man latched onto a great lofted through ball to go one-on-one with the keeper, Aymen Mathlouthi, and slot the ball past him for Egypt's much-needed first of the night.... The Pharaohs went to the interval enjoying the lead but it took the hosts less than five minutes to find an equaliser, through a goal by Chikhaoui Yassine. Chikhaoui capitalised on a blunder from Hossam Ghaly, who gave away possession cheaply, and he duly found the back of the net for 1-1. After settling the score, the hosts were now enjoying possession and restored their confidence as they managed to find the back of the net for the second time with nine minutes remaining. Khazri netted a magnificent free-kick that beat keeper Essam El-Hadary and gave his side the lead, which spelled the end for the Egyptians." - MTN football

October 15, 2014 - Ferjani Sassi scores in win over Senegal
"A late, late goal from Ferjani Sassi saw Tunisia snatch a 1-0 victory over Senegal in a Group G, African Cup of Nations qualifier match at the Stade Mustapha Ben Jannet on Wednesday night.... Instead, very much against the run of play, Tunisia stole victory when Ferjani Sassi poked home a goalmouth scramble following a corner-kick in the 95th minute of the match. The result sees Tunisia go top of Group G with ten points from four games, three points above Senegal in second place." - Super Sport

September 10, 2014 - Ben Youssef scores in win over Egypt
"Egypt suffered their second African Cup of Nations qualifying defeat after losing 1-0 to Tunisia at Air Defense Stadium, leaving their hopes of reaching the 2015 Morocco finals up in the air. A 14th-minute goal from Tunisia star Fakhreddine Ben Youssef was enough to hand Shawki Gharib's men their second defeat in a row.... But it was Emam's pushing forward what Egypt had to pay for, with Ali Maaloul and Ben Youssef brilliantly combining down the left before the latter superbly dribbled past the below-par Ahmed Saied 'Okka' to finish wonderfully past keeper Sherif Ekramy." - Ahram

September 6, 2014 - Khazri & Chikhaoui score in win over Botswana
"Tunisia came from behind to score twice via set-pieces and overcome Botswana with a 2-1 victory in the dying minutes as they avoided an upset in their opening Group G game of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Botswana stunned the home crowd at the Stade Mustapha Ben Jannet in Monastir when Joel Mogorosi pounced on a dreadful defensive blunder to open the scoring one minute before halftime. Tunisia rallied back after the break, squandering several goal-scoring opportunities before deservedly leveling the score when a curling free-kick from Wahbi Khazri went past the stranded keeper. The match looked as though it was heading for a draw but Yassine Chikhaoui converted a penalty one minute from time after a needless handball by a Botswana player to send the home fans into ecstasy." - Ahram
