"Junior Austin Crimmins (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) will again handle the majority of the kicking and punting duties. After kicking a school record 15 field goals as a freshman, he was successful on 13 more last season, giving him 28 for his career which ties him for second best all-time at Duquesne. On the punting side, Crimmins posted a 38.0 yard average which is good for sixth best all-time at DU. He had eight kicks inside the 20 and had a long of 68 yards at Saint Francis which is the third longest punt in school history. Also available for both punting and kicking will be junior Markus Collin (Allentown, N.J./Allentown/Massachusetts) . Handling the holds and also capable of punting is sophomore Patrick Dill (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) . Junior Christian Kuntz will take over the long snapping duties." - Dukes

February 4, 2015 - kicker Cory Griffith signs
"An All-District kicker for St. Ignatius High School ... was also a member of the Cleveland All-Star team, All-State Honorable Mention and his team's special teams MVP ... was 12-16 on field goal attempts (2-2 from 20-29, 4-4 from 30-39, 5-8 from 40-49 and 1-2 from 50 plus) ... connected on a 52-yard field goal in a game versus Mentor." - Dukes

September 22, 2014 - kicker Austin Crimmins earns NEC weekly honors
"Crimmins was perfect on his place-kicking attempts during the Dukes' win over Monmouth. He netted 12 points as Duquesne sent the Hawks to their first loss of the season. Crimmins, now a two-time NEC Special Teams Player of the Week, connected on all three of his field goal tries, including a 24-yarder that made it a two-score game with 2:59 remaining in the fourth quarter. He was also 3-for-3 on PATs and blasted two of his seven kickoffs for touchbacks." - Dukes
