High School Long Kicks - Delaware

Our series exploring the longest field goals at the high school level in each state continues with Delaware.
  • 57 James Ohliger, Tatnall HS in 34-18 loss to St. Andrew’s, 11/13/ 2003
"James carried the ball 31 times for 262 yards and 2 TD’s in the Hornets 34-18 loss to St. Andrew’s. Ohliger made history when he kicked a State record 57-yard field goal, breaking his own State record of 54 yards. The kick was originally said to be from 58 yards, but after review of the tape it was ruled to be from 57." - Rivals

"Tatnall's James Ohliger kicked a state-record 54-yard field goal, but it was not enough as the Hornets lost 20-17 to visiting Archmere on Saturday....
