September 14, 2015 - kicker Diogo Dietrich earns weekly ECFC honors again
"Senior Diogo Dietrich (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil/DePaul Catholic (N.J.)) will need to make just a little more room on his mantle, as the Privateer placekicker was named the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for the second consecutive week to start the season. Dietrich impressed once again on Friday evening against the Mass. Maritime Buccaneers as he converted on both a 42 and 47-yard field goal, while converting on one extra point to lead the team in scoring. In addition to the two conversions, Dietrich narrowly missed out on re-setting the longest field goal in Maritime football history as his 52-yard field goal attempt in the first quarter just missed the crossbar by no more than a yard. On the season, Dietrich has converted three field goal attempts, all of which have come from greater than 41 yards. Overall the senior leads the team in scoring with 13 points on the year." - Privateers
