September 6, 2015 - Winstone Kalengo & Colins Mbesuma score in win over Kenya
"Zambia came from behind to beat Kenya 2-1 in their African Cup of Nations, Group E qualifier at the Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi on Sunday. The home side started the better of the two teams which saw Michael Olunga give Kenya the lead in the 13th minute courtesy of a fine finish, 1-0. Zambia, though, hit back quickly with Winstone Kalengo equalising in the 28th minute after a well-worked move from the Chipolopolo, 1-1. The away side then took the lead three minutes before the break courtesy of veteran striker Colins Mbesuma who showed just how deadly he is in front of goal with a clinical strike, 2-1." - SuperSport

July 4, 2015 - Zambia advances over Namibia on penalty kicks
"Zambia worked hard to get some justice against Namibia after eliminating the Brave Warriors on post-match penalties from the 2016 CHAN qualifiers. Chipolopolo beat Namibia 6-5 in a penalty shoot at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka. This follows a 2-1 home win by Zambia on Saturday to see the first round qualified tied 3-3 on aggregate.... Striker Winston Kalengo scored the winning goal in the second half to keep Zambia in contention before also converting the sudden-death spot-kick clincher. Kondwani Mtonga, Moses Phiri, Benedict Chepeshi, Buchizya Mfune and Christopher Munthali all converted for Zambia after Joseph Zimba had missed the hosts second spot-kick. Namibia Captain Heinrich Isaacks missed the first spot-kick and Denzil Haoseb The Brave Warriors final kick while in-between Denis Tjetjinda, Joslin Kamatuka, Itamunua Keimuine, Ananias Gebhardt and Absalom Iimondi successfully beat Zambia goalkeeper Daniel Munyau. Meanwhile in regulation time, Zambia took the lead in the 30th minute through Festus Mbewe but Benjamin Nenavu equalised in the 45th minute. March 29, 2015 - Rainford Kalaba & Alan Mukuka score in win over Rwanda
"Zambia beat Rwanda 2-0 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka on Sunday in what was probably Honour Janza’s swan song as Chipolopolo coach.... Meanwhile, second half goals from Rainford Kalaba and veteran winger Alan Mukuka sealed Zambia’s first win in 2015 after picking up two draws and as many defeats this year. Kalaba scored the first goal in the 60th minute from close range to calm Zambia’s nerves after failing to breakdown Rwanda’s defence in the opening hour in which they came under-pressure from some very expectant home fans. Mukuka sealed the victory in the 80th minute with a fine volley to end his six year exile from the Zambia fold following his last call-up in 2009." - Lusaka Times

"Zambia confirmed qualification for next year's Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea with a 1-0 win over Group F winners, Cape Verde Islands at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Wednesday afternoon. November 15, 2014 - Given Singuluma scores in win over Mozambique
"Zambia beat Mozambique 1-0 away on Saturday in Maputo in their penultimate Group F qualifier to edge closer to 2015 Africa Cup qualification.... A sign that Zambia's fortunes would change in the second half came within the opening ten minutes of the second half. Emmanuel Mayuka firstly saw his 53rd minute shot come off the woodwork and a minute later Kalaba too missed in exact fashion. Mozambique then won a dubious penalty in the 59th minute when Kito's shot came off Emmanuel Mbola leg but the referee saw otherwise and pointed to the spot. Man of the match Pelembe though failed to beat Mweene who saved Zambia from an injustice with his legs. Chipolopolo then punished Mozambique in the 66th when Kalaba sent the ball into Given Singuluma path who fired in the ball from close range to finally beat Campos to hand Zambia their first Group F away win." - SuperSport

After a goalless first half, Rainford Kalaba gave Zambia a 58th-minute lead before Mayuka netted their second with a quarter-hour remaining.
