September 21, 2015 - punter George Fishback named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week
"Fishback, a junior from Grosse Pointe Park, averaged over 43 yards per punt on four attempts in a 61-15 defeat of Concordia (Ill.) on Saturday. He booted a long kick of 52 yards. Fishback also pinned a ball inside the opponent 20 and forced a fair catch on the day." - MIAA

September 14, 2015 - kicker Viet Nguyen named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week
"A sophomore from Canton, Mich., Nguyen earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors after connecting on three field goals including the game-winner in a 16-13 victory at Millikin on Saturday. He connected on a 20-yard field goal in the second quarter to give the Hornets a 10-3 lead. Nguyen punched through another try with two ticks left in the first half from 32 yards out to knot the game at 13-all. He kicked the game-winning score from 34 yards to give Kalamazoo the win." - Hornets

September 12, 2015 - Viet Nguyen kicks game winner over Millikin

"The Kalamazoo College football team won 16-13 at Millikin University on Saturday....
Viet Nguyen made the first of three field goals on the day with 12:36 left in the second quarter to give Kalamazoo a 10-3 lead. The host Big Blue blocked a punt and returned it 29 yards for a touchdown to even the score midway through the second. Millikin added a field goal with a minute left before half to take a 13-10 lead, but Kalamazoo was able to tie the game with Nguyen's 32-yard field goal with two seconds left in the half. Nguyen's 34-yard field goal with 14:50 left in the fourth quarter proved to be the game winnner, as Millikin's 48-yard attempt with five seconds remaining came up short." - MLive

November 15, 2014 - Jacob Hardy kicks game winner over Hope
"The Kalamazoo College football team won the "Battle of the Wooden Shoes" with a 30-29 win at Hope in the season finale on Saturday. Kalamazoo's Jacob Hardy made a field goal with two seconds remaining to put the Hornets on top. The field goal was deflected and hit the crossbar before going over.... Kalamazoo's Hartlee Lucas returned the kickoff 34 yards to start the drive at the Kalamazoo 44, but a personal foul by Hope moved the Hornets up to the Flying Dutchmen 41. White connected with Dietrich for 38 yards on the next play to advance to the Hope 3. The Hornets tried one pass and two rushing attempts before making the field goal with two seconds remaining." - D3 Football
