June 29, 2015 - T.C. Stevens kicks Richmond into PIFL Cup Championship game
"Richmond Raider kicker T.C. Stevens scored 18 points, seven during a pivotal period at the end of the first half and beginning of the second, to end the defending Professional Indoor Football champion Nashville Venom season 54-35 in PIFL Cup Semi-final action from Richmond, Virginia....  Richmond will now take on the Columbus Lions in the PIFL Cup Championship game next Monday in Columbus, Georgia." - PIFL

June 2, 2015 - Trenton Freedom kicker Edward Ruhnke named Special Teams Player of the Week
"
With the offense struggling, kicker Edward Ruhnke came through in a big way scoring 13 points in Trenton’s 49-35 victory over the Hammers earning him the Week 11 Special Teams Player of the Week award.  Along with going 5 of 6 in PAT attempts, Ruhnke was perfect 2 of 2 in field goal attempts (27, 26) and wedged in two Uno’s giving him a total of seven in just four games." - PIFL

May 26, 2015 - Richmond Raiders kicker T.C. Stevens named Special Teams Player of the Week
"Recipient of the Special Teams Player of the Week nod for a season high fourth time, Richmond K T.C. Stevens (5’9 180, Sydney-Hampden) notched a game-high 16 points racking up three Uno’s while also going a perfect 4 for 4 on PAT attempts.  Stevens also connected on three field goals (30, 35, 22) stretching his league-leading points total to 104, just one point shy of matching his total from a year ago." - PIFL

May 19, 2015 - Lions kicker Lindsey Wolfe named Special Teams Player of the Week
"Columbus K Lindsey Wolfe (6’0 180, Fort Valley St.) earned the Week 9 Special Teams Player of the Week nomination, second this year, by notching a league-high 14 points in the Lions 44-38 thrilling win over Nashville.  Wolfe kicked in three Uno’s, was a perfect 5 for 5 on PAT attempts, and was 2 of 4 on field goal tries successfully connecting on attempts from 54 and 45 yards away.  His 54-yard field goal at the end of the first half tied him for the longest field goal in PIFL history, now sharing the mark with Trey Crum from back in 2012." - PIFL


May 17, 2015 - Lindsey Wolfe kicks Lions to win over Venom
"The Nashville Venom (4-3) fell to the Columbus Lions (6-2) 44-38 in PIFL action from Nashville. The Venom started out down 1-0 as Lion kicker Lindsey Wolfe kicked his first of four Unos on the opening kickoff.... The teams then traded field goals to end the half at 33-16. Wolfe field goal of 54 yards broke Venom kicker’s Christian Reed’s record of 52 yards which he kicked in Nashville’s previous home game versus Richmond. Wolfe started the second half strong kicking a 45 yard field goal and then kicked yet another Uno." - PIFL

May 12, 2015 - Trenton Freedom kicker Edward Ruhnke named Special Teams Player of the Week
"
Rounding out an impressive 57-36 Freedom win over the Hammers this past weekend, Kicker Edward Ruhnke (5’8 160, Mount Union) made his debut on Friday earning the Special Teams Player of the Week by knocking a league-high three Uno’s for the week.  Rhunke pitched in a total of ten points, tied for the weekly high with Richmond’s Stevens, by going 4 of 5 on PAT attempts as well as 2 of 3 on field goal attempts (40, 20).... Honorable Mention: K T.C. Stevens (Richmond)." - PIFL



April 28, 2015 - Nashville Venom kicker Christian Reed named Special Teams Player of the Week
"
For the first time since Week 4, someone not named T.C. Stevens earned the Special Teams Player of the Week award.  After back-to-back honorable mentions in Weeks 4 and 5, Nashville Venom Christian Reed (5’9 170, Wofford) broke the threshold giving him his second overall Special Teams nod this season.  In Saturday’s 69-49 win over Richmond, Reed scored a league-high 15 points connecting on three Uno’s as well as going a perfect 9 for 9 on PAT attempts.  He was also 1 of 3 on field goal attempts connecting on a 52-yard field goal, the longest field goal in the PIFL this season tying him for the second longest in PIFL history.

April 22, 2015 - Erie Explosion sign barefoot kicker Rob Avierett
"An injury to kicker Shon Rowser led Erie Explosion coach Shawn Liotta to sign an emergency replacement who is older than he is for this week's game.With Rowser out with a dislocated shoulder, Liotta brought in former Citadel kicker Rob Avierett, whose final year of college was 1991, when the 34-year-old Liotta was 11. To add even more intrigue, Avriett is a barefoot kicker." - Go Erie

April 21, 2015 - Richmond Raiders kicker T.C. Stevens named Special Teams Player of the Week
"For the third time and second time in as many weeks, Raiders K T.C. Stevens (5’9 180, Sydney-Hampden) earns the Special Teams Player of the Week nod.  Leading all kickers in scoring with 16 points, Stevens notched two Uno’s and converted five of six PAT attempts and for the second week in a row went a perfect three for three in field goal attempts (38, 16, 29).  The Week 5 honor marks his twelfth weekly nod and thru five weeks Stevens leads the PIFL in scoring with 48 points, his best opening five week start to a season his Special Teams MVP season back in 2012. April 19, 2015 - Nashville Venom kicker Christian Reed kicks game winner over Columbus
"Second chances in life sometimes never come. In Nashville Venom kicker Christian Reed’s case, it only took a week for him to have a chance to redeem himself. Reed kicked an 18 yard field goal as time expired to give the Venom (2-2) a 58-55 victory over the previously undefeated Columbus Lions (3-1)." - Venom

April 14, 2015 - Richmond Raiders kicker T.C. Stevens named Special Teams Player of the Week
"For the second time this season, Raiders K T.C. Stevens (5’9 180, Sydney-Hampden) earns the Special Teams Player of the Week nod.  Despite the loss to Columbus, this week Stevens led all kickers in scoring with 13 points by converting on 4 of 5 PAT attempts and going 3 of 3 on field goal tries (26, 25, 40).  This marks the eleventh time he has been pegged with this weekly honor, a league high. April 7, 2015 - Nashville Venom kicker Christian Reed named Special Teams Player of the Week
"It was pegged as the rematch, an early 2014 PIFL Championship game rematch between the Steelhawks and Nashville Venom.  Instead we got much of the same from last July with the Venom dismantling the Hawks 55-28.  Kicker Christian Reed (5’9 170, Wofford) wedged in four Uno’s including converting 4 of 6 PAT attempts and a 24 yard field goal.  Reed’s eleven points helped him earn his first player of the week of the season, and season overall for his career.  Next up for the defending champs is another meeting with rival Alabama with the Von Braun Center in Huntsville serving as the venue. March 31, 2015 - Columbus Lions sign kicker Lindsey Wolfe named Special Teams Player of the Week
"
Also making his Lions debut on Sunday, kicker Lindsey Wolfe’s (6’0 180, Fort Valley St.) tenure started out shaky missing on both his first PAT attempt and field goal try before finally settling in nailing his next five extra point tries as well as connecting on a 32-yard field goal as time expired at the end of the first half.  Ever more crucial, his two Uno’s in Sunday’s final three minutes sparked a 4th quarter comeback in which the defense held Richmond scoreless on the two drives following the Uno’s.  Wolfe’s ten points were also league-high’s among all kickers." - PIFL

March 24, 2015 - Richmond Raiders kicker T.C. Stevens named Special Teams Player of the Week
"Already the PIFL’s all-time scoring leader, Richmond Raiders K T.C. Stevens earned the Special Teams Player of the Week for a record ninth time.  Stevens kicked for a game-high nine points including three Uno’s going 3 of 4 in PAT attempts and connecting on an 18-yard field goal." - PIFL
