September 26, 2015 - Tommaso Allan kicks3 penalties & 2 conversions in win over Canada
"Italy squeaked past a determined and inventive Canada 23-18 to keep alive their World Cup quarter-final hopes. Tries from Michele Rizzo and Gonzalo Garcia plus 13 points from the boot of Tommaso Allan proved just enough for Jacques Brunel's men to avert an upset.... Allan was replaced by Carlo Canna in the 34th minute and the new man missed a penalty before being tackled into touch as he tried to ground the ball in the left corner as the first half came to a close. However, Italy went into the break ahead after Canada conceded a penalty and Allan, back on the pitch, made no mistake from close in." - ESPN

July 14, 2015 - fly-half Kelly Haimona injury setback
"Flyhalf Kelly Haimona has been sent home from Italy's training camp for the Rugby World Cup because he's still not fully recovered from a broken right forearm. The New Zealand-born Haimona was injured in March against Wales in the Six Nations. The Italian federation says Haimona's recovery is behind schedule, preventing him from any sort of contact for another month." - Yahoo

March 25, 2015 - fly-half Kelly Haimona to miss three months with broken arm
"Italy and Zebre flyhalf Kelly Haimona will be sidelined for three months following an operation on a broken right arm. Haimona fractured his forearm on Saturday in the opening minutes of Italy's 61-20 Six Nations defeat to title-chasing Wales. The Italian rugby federation says on Wednesday, a day after the operation in Fidenza, the op is 'a complete success.' Barring complications, New Zealand-born Haimona should return at the end of June, giving him time to prepare for the Rugby World Cup in September." - Yahoo

February 28, 2015 - Tommaso Allan kicks late conversion over Scotland
"A penalty try in the 80th minute gave Italy a dramatic 22-19 win over Scotland in their Six Nations clash at Murrayfield. Italy were trailing 19-15 and facing their third defeat of the competition when Irish referee George Clancy awarded them their third try of the game after the backpedalling Scotland pack pulled down a threatening maul close to the home line. That put Sergio Parisse's side  20-19 ahead and, for good measure, replacement stand-off Tommaso Allan added the conversion to confirm a third defeat out of three for Scotland, the country he represented at age group level." - Sky Sports

February 2, 2015 - the fly-halves for Six Nations
"For over ten years Italy have looked for the successor to Diego Dominguez. In Kelly Haimona they may have finally found their man. Italy have always had a decent pack but they’ve often been let down by their backs. Haimona offers more control at 10 and kicks his goals. With Tommaso Allan backing up they’re looking their strongest in this position for over a decade." - Green and Gold Rugby

January 15, 2015 - Tommaso Allan & Kelly Haimona named to 6 Nations squad
"Italy head coach Jacques Brunel today announced a 30-man squad ahead of the first two rounds of the 2015 RBS 6 Nations.... Fly-halves: Tommaso Allan (USAP Perpignan, 10 caps) & Kelly Haimona (Zebre Rugby, 3 caps)." - RBS 6 Nations
