February 4, 2015 - kicker Jared Blake signs
"Blake (5-11, 150) made his decision to go to Arkansas-Monticello. As a senior, Blake had a 32-yard field goal, made 33-of-39 extra-point kicks, and delivered touchbacks on 20 percent of his kickoffs." - News Star

August 28, 2014 - summer specialists
Without a doubt, the kicking game is where UAM shines. Wise punting and sophomore Jamie McGee (5-9, 165) placekicking give Jackson much comfort, the coach noted. McGee became the Weevils’ most decorated placekicker in his first season in Monticello. He broke the UAM and GAC season records for field goals made with 17 during the 2013 campaign. He was the first UAM placekicker in history to earn postseason All-America honors with a spot on the Beyond Sports Network All-America third team and an honorable mention for the Don Hansen Football Gazette All-America teams.  'That’s a huge plus,' Jackson said of his two returning specialists. 'Having Reagan Wise, who’s going to be a four-year starter—a guy we’re asking to get us about a 40- or 41-yard average and good hang time—is a big thing. He’s a smart player; he understands a lot of things about the kicking game. Then you’ve got Jamie McGee, who was an All-American last year and is a preseason All-American this year. He’s got a little bit of pressure on him but he’s had a great fall camp. Both Reagan’s and Jamie’s legs are much stronger and we look for both to have great years.' Those two can’t do it alone, however. Jackson was quick to mention Zach Calhoun (5-11, 190, sophomore), who long snaps for UAM. 'It’s unbelievable how much better he’s gotten,” his coach praised." - Advance-Monticellonian
