September 21, 2015 - punter Jordan Stangler named MIAA Special Teams Athlete of the Week
"Stangler averaged 38 yards per punt in Fort Hays State’s 30-7 win over Lindenwood. Three of his nine punts resulted in drives starting inside the 20-yard line and he had two punts of over 50 yards on the night with 58 as his longest. One punt resulted in a touchback. Stangler also recorded a tackle on special teams following one of his punts. The 6-2 senior punter is a native of Surprise, Ariz. where he competed at Willow Canyon High School and transferred to FHSU from Indiana State University." - WIBW

"Fort Hays State Football provided a big statement in the season opener at Central Oklahoma on Thursday night (Sept. 3). Despite falling down 20-0 with 5:53 to go in the first half, the Tigers put together a furious rally to eventually win 30-29 on a 19-yard field goal by Drew O'Brien as time expired." - Tigers
