September 18, 2015 - Luke Breust kicks six goals in semi-finals win over Adelaide
"Despite coming off the Perth trip, Jack Gunston's absence through injury and the advancing years of many of its premiership stars, Hawthorn put the Crows to the sword with an electrifying eight-goal first quarter and never gave them a sniff thereafter, extending their lead at every break to cruise to a 21.9 (135) to 8.13 (61) victory.... Captain Luke Hodge responded emphatically to criticism of his leadership against the Eagles with 29 possessions and four goals, while Luke Breust, goalless in his previous three matches, starred in the Hawks' opening-quarter blitz with three goals and finished with a game-high six majors." - AFL

July 24, 2015 - Jack Gunston kicks six goals in win over Carlton
"A red-hot Hawthorn has inflicted the greatest loss on Carlton in its proud 119-season history, humiliating the Blues by 138 points at Etihad Stadium on Friday night. The Hawks had belted premiership contenders Fremantle and the Sydney Swans in the previous two rounds and did not let up against the 16th-placed Blues, slamming on the first nine goals of the game to extend their record winning streak against Carlton to 12 with an imposing 27.11 (173) to 4.11 (35) victory.... Jack Gunston also feasted on the Blues' defence with an equal career-high six goals, Gibson soaked up 27 possessions in defence, and Brian Lake completely blanketed former Western Bulldogs teammate Liam Jones." - AFL

July 18, 2015 - Jarryd Roughead kicks five goals in win over Sydney
"Hawthorn has sent an ominous warning to the rest of the competition with an awesome performance to defeat the Sydney Swans by 89 points at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night. "Luke Hodge has led Hawthorn to a convincing 70-point win over an injury-depleted Western Bulldogs side in Launceston. The Hawks' skipper put in a masterful performance, with 44 possessions and two goals in the 19.13 (127) to 8.9 (57) win, with Jarryd Roughead also a key contributor up forward with seven goals." - AFL

April 6, 2015 - Luke Breust kicks five goals in win over Geelong
"Hawthorn has fired an ominous warning to the rest of the competition that its back-to-back flags have not sated its premiership hunger, with an imposing 62-point victory over Geelong at the MCG on Easter Monday. The Hawks set up with their win with a remarkable 13-goal-to-two run from the start of second quarter that turned a six-point quarter-time deficit into a 68-point lead at the one-minute mark of the final term. The only thing that saved the Cats from a bigger hiding was the Hawks' sudden attack of goalkicking yips that saw them kick 1.8 in the final term, with most of their missed shots simple ones....  Luke Breust kicked five goals for the victors, while Jarryd Roughead and Paul Puopolo kicked three each - the former setting the tone early in the match with his fierce tackling and the latter putting in an early entry for mark of the year with a third-term speccy over Jed Bews, Jared Rivers and Ben McEvoy." - AFL

March 19, 2015 - 13 players kick goals in win over St. Kilda
"The Hawks' final score of 0.22.13 (145) to 1.4.6 (39) was the highest of the NAB Challenge this year, and featured 13 individual goalkickers.... Breust 3, Gunston 3, Roughead 3, Ceglar 2, Lewis 2, McEvoy 2, Sicily, Rioli, O'Rourke, Smith, Mitchell, Langford, Hill." - AFL

February 20, 2015 - Paul Puopolo signs two-year extension
"Forward Paul Puopolo has signed a two-year contract extension, tying him to the club until at least the end of 2017. The popular two-time premiership player has been rewarded after he booted 22 goals last year and was one of four Hawks to play every match.... He rated highly for tackles (2nd), free-kicks won (2nd) and goal assists (5th) for the Hawks last season and earned his first top-10 placing (9th) in the Peter Crimmins Medal." - AFL
