  • recorded an impressive 61 touchbacks on 65 kickoffs

College Stats:
2014: 13 of 17 (76.5%) FGs; 47 of 48 PATs; 86 points
2013: 16 of 24 (66.7%) FGs; 35 of 35 PATs; 83 points
2012: 14 of 17 (82.4%) FGs; 39 of 41 PATs; 81 points
2011: 16 of 19 (84.2%) FGs; 24 of 25 PATs; 72 points

After setting the school career field goal record last November, discussed kicking and the final days of the football program:
"Well, each year, each staff, I just try not to change anything up. I do the same thing. I had a successful year my freshman year with field goals for the most part, struggled on the kickoffs. On field goals I just try to do the same thing every year -- just keep working, get better, more consistent every time....

That record's cool and everything, you know, I'm blessed to get that and everything. But this team is so much more. Some people on the outside don't realize how much this team means to us and  this program."
