May 6, 2015 - Win Theingi Tun & Yee Yee Oo each score brace in win over Malaysia
"Myanmar has gained their second triumph at the 2015 AFF Women's Championship, after whitewashing Malaysia 4-0 on Wednesday in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, with two strikers making a double each. Myanmar players and their Malaysian rivals were neck-to-neck in the first half, with the former launching a series of attacks and the latter succeeding in defending their goal line. However, within three minutes around the break, Myanmar striker Win Theingi Tun sealed a double for her squad. Two minutes before the break, Win Theingi Tun broke through Malaysia's thick defense and delivered a thunderous shoot to defeat Malaysian goalkeeper Asma Junaidi, whose knee was injured before. One minute into the second half, she netted again with a close-range blast. Fueled by the two goals, Myanmar players launched more blitz attacks, but failed to find the back of the net, since the Malaysian goalie performed so well. However, in the 69th and the 75th minute, the 23-year-old goalie surrendered to Myanmar veteran striker Yee Yee Oo." - Global Post
