June 11, 2015 - Ramon Saro scores late equalizer in draw with Malaysia
"Malaysia had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Timor Leste, after the away side came from behind to score a stoppage time equalizer at the Bukit Jalil Stadium earlier today.... Predictably, a defensive mistake was required to create the opening for the first goal of the match, with Safee Sali firing from close range to put Malaysia 1-0 ahead.... With less than a minute left on the clock, Timor Leste earned a free kick on the edge of the box, after Diego was fouled by Junior Eldstal. A free kick was curled into the six yard area and Ramon Saro’s header found the back of the net to make the score 1-1 and seal one point from the game." - Fourth Official

March 17, 2015 - Patrick Fabiano scores in win over Mongolia
"Timor-Leste beat Mongolia 1-0 at the MFF Football Centre on Tuesday and 5-1 on aggregate to reach the second round of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Patrick Fabiano was the scorer of game's only goal when he found the net on nine minutes." - AFC

March 12, 2015 - Chiquito do Carmo scores brace in win over Mongolia
"Timor-Leste put one foot in the second round of joint qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 AFC Asian Cup with an emphatic 4-1 first-leg win over Mongolia on Thursday.... The home side made a blistering start to Thursday’s meeting with Mongolia and had raced to a two-goal lead inside the first seven minutes courtesy of a quick-fire double from Chiquito do Carmo, who scored in the fourth and seventh minutes to take his international tally to four following the two goals he bagged in the qualifiers for the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup. Timor-Leste doubled their advantage with two late goals with Rodrigo Silva making it 3-0 in the 84th minute before Jairo Neto followed up the UAE-based midfielder’s strike with the fourth just 60 seconds later. Erchim FC defender Erkhembayar Batmunkh reduced the deficit with three minutes to play." - AFC
