Back in February, Christy discussed his experience at the NFL Scouting Combine and some advice from a prop punter:
"Just having a lot of fun, pretty excited about everything. A lot of contact from family and friends. I’ve been getting a bunch of texts today, wishing me good luck and everything....

I think I’ve talked to [Indianapolis Colts punter] Pat McAfee a couple times on Twitter. He gave me some advice. I think it was a couple years ago, when I was a finalist for the Ray Guy Award. He went through that too and kind of told me what to expect. He helped me out with that.”
