Tajikistan Men's National Soccer Team News

June 16, 2015 - Fathullo Fathuloev scores equalizer in draw with Bangladesh
"Fathullo Fathuloev scored in the dying stages of Tajikistan’s 2018 FIFA World Cup/2019 AFC Asian Cup joint-qualifier against Bangladesh on Tuesday to salvage a point for the Central Asians, who were staring at their second consecutive Group B defeat after Jahid Hasan Ameli had given the home side a 50th minute lead.... The 2003 SAFF Championship winners appeared to be having better luck at the Bangabandhu National Stadium the second time around as Bangladesh’s current leading international scorer Jahid Hasan Ameli put the hosts one up five minutes into the second half. Bangladesh’s hopes of a first Group B win were given a major boost in the 67th minute when Siyosush Asrorov received a second yellow card having been booked just ten minutes earlier but the ten men of Tajikistan would level the tie with just to minutes left on the clock courtesy of Fathullo Fathuloev, who helped Tajik side FC Isiklol reach the quarter-finals of this year’s AFC Cup with a penalty shootout win over Syria’s Al Wahda." - AFC
