Sports Illustrated 2015 Preseason All-American Kickers & Punters

Sports Illustrated announced its annual Preseason All-American Team yesterday. The key members (i.e. the kickers and the punters) for 2015 are as follows:

First Team

Kicker: Roberto Aguayo, Florida State
2014: Solidified himself as one of the greatest kickers in college football history with another spectacular season...after winning the 2013 Lou Groza Award as the nation’s top kicker, he was arguably better in 2014, capturing consensus All-America honors and All-ACC First Team accolades, while making 27 of 30 field goals and going a perfect 55 of 55 on extra points...his 90.0 field goal percentage ranked first in the country (minimum 20 made), while his 136 points ranked eighth in the country overall and second among kickers
Punter: JK Scott Alabama
Produced the best season for a punter in Alabama football history as a true freshman in 2014 and returns for his sophomore season in 2015 ... earned first team All-America honors from Sporting News ... the leading candidate for the Ray Guy Award after being a finalist last year ... led the nation in punting at 48.0 yards per kick and net punting at 44.7 yard per boot.
Second Team

Kicker: Brad Craddock, Maryland
Voted the 2014 Lou Groza Award winner for the nation's most outstanding kicker ... named the Big Ten Bakken-Andersen Kicker of the Year  … named a first team All-American by the FWAA ... a second team Associated Press, Sporting News, USA Today and Walter Camp All-America selection … named a first-team member of the All-Big Ten Team by the coaches and media … an All-Big Ten Academic selection … a member of the Maryland Leadership Council … is currently Maryland’s all-time leader in field goal percentage at 81.7 percent (49-60) … made 94.7 percent of his field goal attempts (18 of 19), a Maryland single-season record
Punter: Tom Hackett, Utah
First Ray Guy Award winner in Utah and Pac-12 history ... consensus All-American and two-time first-team All-Pac-12 punter came to Utah as a walk-on before being placed on scholarship ... school record-holder for punt yards in a season (3,736 in 2014) and total punts in a season (80 in 2014) ... 45 career punts of 50+ yards ranks fourth all-time at Utah ... 8,008 career punt yards ranks fifth in school history and 181 career punts is the fifth-most ... enters his senior season ranked second all-time at Utah in punt average (44.24) ... in his career, he has placed 43.1% of his punts inside the 20 (78-of 181), including 37 inside the 10-yard line and 16 inside the 5-yard line ... just 17 touchbacks in 181 punts ... shared the starting job as a freshman and has started in every game the past two seasons
