September 28, 2015 - kicker Cole Tracy named Northeast-10 Special Teams Player of
the Week
"for the second time this season after an 11-point effort in
Saturday's win over Pace. Tracy was a perfect 8-for-8 in extra-point chances on Saturday
afternoon, along with a 38-yard field goal as he ended the game with 11
points. As a team, the Hounds came away with the convincing 61-9 home
victory over the Setters. The 11-point performance is the second
double-digit scoring game of the season for Tracy. Previously this season, he set the Northeast-10 Conference record
with six field goals made at LIU Post, along with finishing with a
league-record 19 points in the narrow loss. He also booted a 52-yard
field goal, which tied the all-time NE-10 record for the longest field
goal in league history. For his performance in that week, Tracy was
named the D2Football.com National Special Teams Player of the Week. Tracy is first in the Northeast-10 Conference in field goals made
with eight and points scored by kickers with 40, as well as ranking
second in the league with 16 successful extra-point opportunities. His
52-yard field goal is also the longest in the Northeast-10 this season
by a 14-yard margin." - Greyhounds
