October 11, 2015 - kicker Billy Deane named PSAC East Special teams Player of the Week 
"sophomore Billy Deane was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Special Teams Player of the Week on Sunday afternoon after kicking three field goals in the victory over Lock Haven. It is Deane's second PSAC weekly award of the season. Deane finished the day 3-of-5 on field goals, including a career-long 44-yard field goal on the final play of the first half. He capped off a 12-play drive in the second quarter with a 30-yard field goal and a 14-play drive in the third quarter with a 33-yard field goal. His misses were from 30 yards and 38 yards. Deane only punted once on the day, as SU either scored points or missed a field goal on its first 10 drives of the contest. He averaged more than 60 yards per kickoff. Deane is now 10-of-13 on field-goal attempts this season and tied for the PSAC lead in made field goals." - Red Raiders

September 13, 2015 - kicker Billy Deane named PSAC East Special teams Player of the Week
"sophomore Billy Deane was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Special teams Player of the Week on Sunday afternoon after playing an important role in the Red Raiders to a come-from-behind victory at Edinboro yesterday.Deane provided the first six points of the day for the Red Raiders, kicking a 25-yard field goal in the second quarter and a 35-yard field goal on SU's opening drive of the second half. He is now 3-of-3 on field goals this season. Deane later added extra points on both of SU's touchdowns.Deane also managed four successful punts and averaged 40.2 yards per punt. His final punt of the day was his longest, a career-long 48-yard punt in the rain that pinned Edinboro inside its own 10-yard line with less than two minutes to play. For the season, Deane is averaging 40." - Red Raiders
